Why we are Rüstr
Derived from the Old Norse word for the deep, oxidized red of weathered iron, Rüstr (pronounced Rooster) was born from a respect for things that endure. In an era of polished surfaces and fleeting trends, we chose a name that represents authenticity, resilience, and the raw energy of live performance.
Like the metal that defines our identity, Rüstr isn’t about being new—it’s about having soul. The "heavy metal umlaut" in our name is a nod to the legendary rock history that inspires us, while our roots reflect a commitment to a space that is as sturdy and unyielding as the community we serve. We aren't just a hall; we are a forge for local culture, where the music is loud, the atmosphere is real, and every mark on the wall tells a story.

Join us Saturday nights where talented musicians from outside of Sarnia hit the stage. We have developed some great relationships with booking agencies as well as direct bookings with touring bands.

Get ready to have a few beverages and a bite to eat on our indoor patio.. Rain or shine we can open the doors and you will never get suburnt.
Shows run from 1:30 to 5:00pm.
Pop Up Nights
As bigger bands pass through Lambton - we will try to book a quick show to bring you some of the bigger touring bands as they trek from Toronto to Detroit. It may be any day of the week... but always fun!
Comedy Nights
We will be booking at least one comedy night each month and more if that's what the people want. Keep your eyes and ears open for an awesome night of laughter.
Rental Nights
We have teamed up with Grind Cafe to cater private or public events on the Rustr floor. Weddings / Engagement Parties or private band bookings - the space is yours if the price is right!
